Hotel Savonarola is situated on the outskirts of the Old City and is thereby the ideal starting point to discover the ancient capitol of the Medici-Dynasty. Among the numerous attractions is the cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, a masterpiece by Brunelleschi from the renaissance era, the Uffizi Gallery showing one of the most beautiful collection of paintings and sculptures of the world, San Lorenzo with the most important library of Italy, and countless other attractions such as elegant shops all within a few walking minutes.

Hotel Savonarola does have an elevator and is, of course, accessible by handicapped individuals.

Besides Italian, we speak German, English, French and Spanish. Our office is open 24 hours a day and we have a telephone in each room, a reading room, an internet hot-spot free of charge.

It is easy to reach us from the central station by bus number 1, 7, 10, 17, 25, the closest bus-stop to the hotel is' La Marmora 2' please ask the driver. From there  keep on walking to the traffic light and turn to the left, we are next door to the cinema 'Principe'.
